The 2013 Television Writers Studio will be the premier television writing, producing and networking course in Australia. Produced by Epiphany International Artists, co-presented by AFTRS and supported by Screen Australia, Fox International Channels and RMIT, this exciting three day event is an exceptional opportunity to gain craft, knowledge and inspiration from top international and local television writers, executives and producers.
Our US instructors Jen Grisanti, Ellen Sandler, Carole Kirschner and Steve Kaplan – are among the most respected and sought after teachers of television writing and producing in the world today. Each of them have a wealth of experience writing and producing Emmy award winning television series and developing series ideas for major networks and cable, including HBO, NBC, Disney, Spelling Entertainment, CBS and the ABC.

The evening sessions feature international guest, Glen Mazzara, who will talk about his internationally acclaimed career as Executive Producer and Showrunner for The Walking Dead. With an average viewing audience of 13.5 million, season three is smashing cable TV records and helping to define a new era in television. He will then be joined on stage for a panel discussion with Australian star TV creators including Tony Ayres, Claudia Karvan and Adam Zwar.
